Australia Working Holiday Visas (WHV)

The Australian Working Holiday Visa allows certain passport holders 12 months to have an extended working holiday in Australia by supplementing their travel funds through incidental employment.

Criteria for a WHV:

The applicant must:

• Hold a valid passport for their entire trip from one of the following countries: The United Kingdom, Canada, The Netherlands, Japan, Ireland, Korea, Malta, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Hong Kong SAR, Finland, Cyprus, Italy, Estonia, France, Belgium or Taiwan.
• Be aged between 18-30 years old.
• Have no dependant children.
• Have not entered Australia on a WHV before.
• Have an onward ticket.
• Have more than £2000 worth of savings

Working holiday makers are permitted a stay of 12 months from date of initial entry to Australia regardless of whether or not they spend the whole period in Australia.
